FEBRUARY PART 1: FISH OUT OF WATER
Another month, another intro log. As usual, this one will be going up on February 10th, three days after the app round closes! We hope that some of these new people came in with harpoons, because you're gonna need 'em.
Along with the newbies, and freshly teeming out of the Door is going to be a school of, uh, B horror movie sharks. You heard us.
How are they going to even move around, you say? Well, maybe you've never seen sharknado, where sharks are very good at flopping around until they eat you, or sand sharks, where the sharks can literally burrow and swim through the dirt for you. Be careful! Of course, you also have your two headed sharks, from the aptly named Two Headed Shark Attack, as well as a few sharktopus monsters, which are surprisingly agile on land.
Ignoring all laws of nature and determined to piggyback off of the success of a 1975 blockbuster, these sharks are vicious and a little hilarious and are only out for one thing: blood. Be careful turning corners or finding your way out of the arena, because you never know when a shark is going to... you know, kind of flop over and flap its jaws at you.
By the end of the event, several of these sharks will have made it into the lake in the middle of the city, thanks to Fear's help and will be considered permanent residents until someone decides to hunt them down.
FEBRUARY PART 2: KISSMAS
Not to take away from the shark attacks or evil-clones-ruining-your-life, but thanks to Conner and Cashmere, it's time for a little impromptu (and untimely) holiday celebration in the form of Kissmas, from February 14th-February 20th!
What, exactly, is Kissmas? Glad you asked! Conner has taken it upon himself to ask Delight for an event that lends itself to the romantic parts of the holidays- warm and toasty homes, snowball fights, and an array of odd holiday sweaters. Much like during the red snow event, there will somehow be snow outside and along the streets of Hadriel, though the yetis and darkness will not be included this time around.
In addition, the bar will be stocked with some... odd holiday sweaters! Delight doesn't really know what Christmas is, so she's sort of just using the shotgun approach here- feel free to make up your own!
And finally, above many hearths and in random places and buildings around the city are sprigs of mistletoe! Meeting someone else underneath one will give both participants a strong desire to lock lips, but thanks to Conner's timely intervention, refusal to kiss won't have any unfortunate side effects. Phew!
On February 20th, the effects of Kissmas will die off- the snow will melt that morning, the mistletoe will be gone, but your memories and your sweaters will live on.
FEBRUARY PART 3: NEVER LOG IN
So, after evil clones ruined your life, after you were attacked by a two headed shark, after you potentially made out with someone you're barely on speaking terms with, it's time to take a deep breath in and let it all out, by venting the way god intended: anonymously.
By February 25th, the gods will have realized that y'all have some serious issues you need to work out. They're certainly not very well equipped to help you because their understanding of human psychology is around the level of that elementary school kid who starts fires in the bathroom during recess and gets outdoor recess canceled for everyone else for the rest of the week. What a jerk!
So instead, they decided to let you help one another, by making a header post on the 25th, with all comments completely anonymous and giving everyone a compulsion to talk about their feelings. Characters can discuss their happiness, their hopes, their guilts and regrets and fears, their meditation methods, what's made them angry- really, anything they can think of.
In response, other characters will equally feel a compulsion to respond (anonymously, of course) and help others with their issues or just chat about what makes you happy. It's a good time to just work through some stuff holding you back, all without having to know who you're talking to... that is, unless you want to.
If so desired, there will be an option to reveal your identity to the person you're talking to- but identities will only be revealed if both parties agree to it. In addition, identities will only be revealed to one another, not anyone else who may or may not be stalking the thread.
And that's it for the month of February! Be excellent to one another, don't get eaten by sharks, and try to let out some of those inner demons you've been holding onto so tightly!

But yes, of course! The compulsion is completely optional and people can choose to have platonic affection instead of full-on first base impulses.
