FEBRUARY PART 1: I'M ALWAYS ANGRY
As the extermination event comes to a close, our resident Bruce Banner (zen_en_vert) will attempt to take matters into his own radioactive hands and take a big, green swing at Fear. What will essentially start as 'meet me in the pit' will ultimately end in failure, as Fear's physical form is merely a projection and can unfortunately not be physically beaten to a pulp. Furthermore, Bruce will lack the ability to immediately calm down and start a city-wide rampage!
What does this mean for you guys? Bruce will be posting a log on Monday, February 1st of the Hulk's general destruction. While he'll be keen on smashing everything and generally rampaging around Hadriel, he will still have some degree of control and will probably hold himself back from causing any fatal damage to your character. Probably.
FEBRUARY PART 2: 2 SPOOKY
On February 10th, our new intro log will go up to welcome all the new characters into Hadriel! And what better way to welcome them than with a big round of applause from a few evil spirits? That's right folks, the monsters of the month are wraiths, also known as the shadowy cold spirits that hang around dark places and excel in causing general torment and suffering.
A wraith is a type of vengeful spirit, though unlike the other monsters Hadriel has experienced so far, they won't outright try to kill you. Instead, their touch merely brings a chilling wave of cold that saps your energy and exhausts you- and they're experts at sneaking up on people. Furthermore, contact with a wraith brings horrible luck and causes characters to experience their next few hours in a Final Destination style- ie: everything that can fatally go wrong in their lives, will.
Maybe don't try to change any light bulbs or clean your guns for awhile.
Additionally, our very first Mod Feedback Post will go up on Friday, February 12th! We look forward to hearing your thoughts!
FEBRUARY PART 3: WHO WHAT WHERE WENDIGO
Unfortunately, the wraiths weren't the only spirits that were let in during the fluctuation of the Door. Thanks to a suggestion from Ami, our Chris player, the city of Hadriel will also be visited by wendigo spirits, as seen in the video game Until Dawn. The good news is, the spirit of the wendigo will only possess someone who has consumed the flesh of another human being.TO RECAP...
The bad news is, Fear and Rage are taking over the food supply for awhile.
Starting the 14th of February (Happy Valentine's Day!), the other gods will have kindly decided to help Hope out a little and start feeding all of the needy humans here. While the containers of food won't be marked any differently, some of the meat will have something a little too familiar added to it. Characters who eat the affected meat will soon find themselves possessed by the vengeful wendigo spirits. This event will be opt-in only and we will be taking volunteers for players who want their characters to become wendigos when the ooc event post goes up.
Possession essentially entails characters slowly losing their humanity over the course of the next 12 days as their limbs grow longer and they become faster, stronger and tougher, eventually becoming blind while their hearing sharpens to an unrivaled level. The wendigo are vengeful, angry creatures, and will stop at nothing to rip apart any living thing they can get their clawed hands into.
Characters who become wendigo will likely have to be killed to return to normal, however, there may be ways to save your friends! More on that, as well as details of the actual transformation process and the volunteer sign-ups will be available on the Wendigo OOC event post!

Yay new plurk friends!

So, short version: On good days, he's exactly like a living person except he is very cold and seems sort of washed-out/faded as far as a person goes, and in spite of being a coward can't actually be physically harmed (Ronan throws him out a second floor window onto concrete, he just climbs back up the steps and acts indignant). On less good days he gets more ghostly - fades when people aren't looking at him, vanishes a lot, reenacts his death like a silent movie. On bad days he's a full on poltergeist. Totally invisible and prone to making cold spots, throwing things, and slamming doors.
The Hulk can knock him into a wall and Noah will definitely be hit and hit the wall but he'll just vanish on impact and then return to standing nearby it an eyeblink later like "Wow rude."

The brief mind-sharing process isn't exactly the most pleasant thing in the world, and it's a two-way sort of thing so Arya will probably leave some stuff behind, whether it's memories or general thoughts and emotions. What Bruce retains and how much he hates the experience is totally up to you, canon isn't very specific about it.
