Event Post: Keepsakes

THE RUNDOWN

Keepsakes! Everybody loves keepsakes! Whether they're yours or someone else's, valuable or one-man's-trash type of scenario, they're always fun to find and share and treasure and destroy as you will. On October 15th, Hope and Delight's meddling with the Door means that you get all sorts of things you might recognize popping out all over the place in Hadriel! Something that reminds you of home, a picture of a loved one, a treasured teddy bear... or hey, something with bad memories attached. Or maybe something you don't really care about at all - or you didn't think you did.

Keepsakes can be objects from your character's home world and will show up in random places along the city. Just because a certain item is tied to you does not necessarily mean that it's going to show up at your feet- it could wind up at your neighbor's, or hanging from a tree in the orchard, or in Rage's Temple. Or maybe you just didn't get one... hope you weren't searching for too long!

THE DETAILS

Characters may have a total of two keepsakes enter the city, whether they find them or not. They should be something that has some sort of connection to the character, but that connection doesn't have to be a positive one! It could be something that makes them think of a bad time in their life or something they feel entirely neutral about. Small, unobtrusive, non-magical items (such as jewelry, a book, a letter, a CD) do not require mod permission and you're free to assume that they were brought in!

For large, valuable, dangerous, or magical items, we request that you fill out the form below, comment here and we will make decisions on a case-by-case basis. While we allow for two total keepsakes, we ask that each character only get one of these larger items. Thank you, and happy shopping!

Rosie will be getting (with the mods approval) a cherry red Fender electric guitar complete with amp! It's a really nice piece... only it won't be so nice to see show up again since it was actually bequeathed to one Peter Quill in Haven. She'll probably cry a lot when she sees it because HE'S PROBABLY DEAD AND THAT MAKES HER RLY SAD OKAY

The other item that she'll be receiving is, uh. Her missing hand. Hope it doesn't show up in anyone's bed or anything, but if you want your character to stumble upon someone's missing body parts pls let me know
