Not in this case. Sorrow's blessing allows people to notice details and predict outcomes to their own or others' actions - what this means is, essentially, they need something to work off of. It's not foresight, but rather an enhanced ability to draw correct conclusions from the data given, and in this case there is no data being given to work off of (if that makes sense).

Sorrow's blessing is great for things like determining whether you should blow up that particular piece of wall (you would notice whether it's load-bearing, whether it might start a chain reaction, etc) or making snap decisions in the middle of combat (noticing minor movements that tell you which way a enemy might move, thinking a few steps ahead of them). The further into the future things are, the more difficult they will be to predict, since you have less data to give you clues, and in a situation like this - where there are really no clues ahead of time - it won't work.
