We generally only count comments made during the current month regardless of event timing (though of course, the current month's tags can be used on threads which were started in a previous month and backtagged into the current month), but due to the volume of comments on the very last day of last month, I think that this will be acceptable! DW has weird timestamps sometimes anyway :)
