A few announcements

Good morning, Hadrielites! We're here for a small couple of quick announcements. We've got a new NPC mod for you all, and we're opening up some applications for Discord mods!

NEW NPC MOD

Firstly, we'd like to introduce our newest helper/NPC mod, Alexis! Alexis (punnyinpink) currently plays Dr. Temperance Brennan (notimpervious) and will be assisting us by playing our NPCs Rage and Confusion! We're confident that she'll do an awesome job and very excited to have a new member join our team!

As a note, Alexis will be assisting us as an NPC mod only. If anyone has any questions about lists, plot permissions, suggestions, or anything of the sort, those should still be directed to Rae and Manda.

Thank you to everyone who applied- you guys are great and we'd pick all of you if we could! We're going to keep these applications on hand just in case we might need a bit of NPC help later, but for the time being you're off the hook!

While we're at it, we'd like to personally thank Kelsey, the previous player of these NPCs. There's no way that we could have started this game or played these characters without her creative input and amazing writing abilities, and we're so thankful to her for helping us out all this time! Kelsey will still be assisting us with all of her artistic abilities, so don't count her out yet!

NEW DISCORD CHANNEL

Secondly, the results of the discord poll are in with 21 for and 8 against. With this, we're prepared to move forward with starting a discord server, though we will take careful measures to be conscientious of players who might not want to use it. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns and we will do our best to address them!

This also means that we're on the hunt for Discord mods! As of now, we currently have someone in mind for modding, but we'd like to take one or two more applicants. As a discord mod, you would:

• Be responsible for maintaining the discord. This includes introducing potential bots, creating or deleting various channels, and deciding on aesthetics like emotes, roles, and colors.

• Create a ruleset and work to enforce these rules in your manner of choosing (with mod approval). Be willing to adjust the rules in response to feedback, and be fair and courteous in all of your modly interactions with other users in the channel.

• Be active in the server. You don't necessarily have to be a part of discussions every day, but simply being online and willing to respond to pings on a regular basis is very important!

• Be willing to interact with the entirety of the playerbase. Be impartial and fair in any potential decision that needs to be made.

MISC

As a final note, Manda and Rae will be at PAX this weekend! We're gonna be out of computer range so we're both going on a small hiatus with our characters, but more importantly, we will be unable to give immediate response to anything that may crop up! We both have our phones with access to plurk/discord/mod email, but it's a bit limited so we super appreciate your guys' patience!
