Monthly Rundown: Second Anniversary Edition!

As Arc 2 unravels, along with our second anniversary, we'd like to take this time to say thank you to all of you lovely folk who've made it this far! Things are heating up in the Hadriel fandom as the gods and the Null begin to make plays against one another, and what better way to do that than through your characters? We've also got a doozy of an event for you, back by popular request!

Also, please remember to hit up the Current AC post if you have AC for the month! Characters accepted in September do not require AC proofs, but we do require a check-in on the post!

OCTOBER PART 1: SOME FAMILIAR FACES

The end of September and beginning of October mark the return of Rage and Delight! Everyone's favorite goddess and... the other goddess... are back, and they're eager to make a post to the network! Rage will be letting everyone know about their findings on October 4th.

Shortly after Rage's post is the Intro Log on the 10th of the month, with all the cute new characters and new players to run out and meet! Coming in with the new characters are going to be Treants and Stumpies from the Borderlands 2 DLC! These monsters are generally the sort of thing one thinks about if they ever have to think about 'evil trees', and they're angry about... deforestation, I guess?

While made of wood and highly flammable, these guys also resist most other forms of damage, as their bark is sturdy and chipping it won't technically hurt them much. In addition, they've got long, spindly branches for arms that can clobber you like a mace with some really sharp sticks attached. Not fun for anyone!

OCTOBER PART 2: DREAMWALKER THE SECOND

With all the rough times we've been having lately, and with the way that events have seemed to be ramping up lately, the gods feel as if it's time to go back to an event that everyone- well, most everyone- was happy with: the Dreamwalker event! This particular rendition of the Dreamwalker event will be similar, but with eight gods, it's time to split it up a little!

Therefore, from October 14th-20th, your dreams will be influenced by Delight, Rage, Sorrow, and Hope only. You'll get a few days of rest in between but from October 23rd-29th, it's time for Fear, Love, Confusion, and Tranquility to take over and influence your dreams then! That means that this event will be a two-parter, with two separate logs throughout the month.

Much like the last event, this Dreamwalker event involves characters having dreams themed around whichever god is influencing them. Each night, a character can either be a host or a visitor. Hosts can be influenced by one god per night, and visitors will be able to visit hosts in their themed dreams. We will have more information on this in an event OOC coming up, so keep an eye out for that!

OCTOBER PART 3: INTERROGATIONS

Throughout the month of October, while all the rest of this is going on, the two gods in charge of the investigation, Sorrow and Hope may be reaching out to suspect invididuals, as well as their supporters, in an attempt to try to get to the bottom of the Null's plans and suss out anyone who may be feeling a little friendly with our neighborly AI. Be on the lookout for them, particularly if you've made your opposition to the gods known in the past!

In addition, there will be another mystery NPC post coming toward the end of October. Everyone stay on your toes!

And finally, on October 18th, we will be having our third State Of The Game post, where we'll just do a quick check-in to see how everyone is feeling about the game! We will also give you guys the opportunity to ask for feedback and questions on your own characters if you like, but that part is purely optional!
