Nate is on the Null's hit list, and while he's used to explosions and being the target of mercenary armies he is considerably less well-equipped to deal with enormous automatons as opposed to armed humans. In combat his priority will be acquiring one of the laser cutters to better Mess Up some of the robos.

He will absolutely make efforts to protect and save people, ushering them to safety at Delight's temple, and probably to his own detriment. I'm considering having him get injured (or maybe?? Killed??? We'll see I need to consult castmates) Nate is a scrappy, nigh-unkillable fighter and the world politics don't mean all that much to him in the grand scheme of things so long as he can help people.
