Anyway. I know some folks hit him up on the CR meme for fighty teamups, and those are still go at any point. But I got a lot of general info here so bear with me. I'm gonna bullet-point and then explain from there:
he's going to be fighting on the ground, not protecting any particular place. Might be protecting a god now and then but he'll be mobile.
in order to be able to use his ability when it counts, he'll need to take fighting breaks - by demanding someone else fight for him
he's still available to heal/triage on the field, including emergency surgery
he can use his ability to teleport people to safety but only if his stamina is still there
I do plan to get him pretty wrecked but fortunately no limbs lost this time (ask him about the time he bitchslapped an enemy with his own severed arm)
depending on info on the sonic devices he may be able disable some (?)
his priorities are Hope, Fear, and Rage, and will treat Delight with extreme prejudice because selling your mates out to slavery is not cool.
And now the tl;dr. Law is abandoning the clinic to its own devices. Protecting a building is dumb when he can protect people by killing their killers. Also he's on the list so there's no point in hiding. He will be everywhere and anywhere fighting, so jumping in to tag-team with him will be the easiest/best for existing CR and new CR as well. Another option is to need healing, because even if he's busy fighting he can still provide triage, emergency surgery (bullet removal, laceration stitching, etc), and life-saving.
There's one problem with all that fighting, though. The more exhausted Law is, the harder it is for him to use his ability. If he's too tired or worn down, it's a lot harder to even summon a Room, let alone do anything ridiculous like Radio Knife. That includes serious healing. So, tag-team fighting can include "you, handle basic combat for a bit so I can save my stamina for when it counts." I would love to get him into a snark-fest with someone over this.
That said, Law is op even by OP standards. Cutting through steel is not a problem. He'll slice anything to bits. He can Mes the processors right out of the Null and then crush them. He can swap people to safety with Shambles but also swap enemies into his range for surprise attacks. He will even happily attach that stolen laser-cutter to your body and make you a temporary cyborg. Or a temporary velociraptor-centaur if that's more your style.
He'll be getting pretty trashed, because fighting too long/draining his stamina will leave him vulnerable to injury. Nothing he can't handle but that's for the aftermath later. He'll also be pretty much in a cold rage the whole time, especially if anyone he likes gets killed.
For characters who absolutely can't fight and don't want to become collateral damage, he can use Shambles to teleport people into safehouses - Delight's temple if you must, but there's also Delmar's underground thing. That can even be handwaved, just let me know you want to be on the list of people Law has teleported.
Finally, hit up his permissions post to okay/deny any specific things including body horror, surgery, and getting into PvP fights against him. There's also more info and links regarding his Ope-Ope fruit and his haki which are entirely relevant.
Oh also he'll be going around without his heart in his chest for a short length of time so. Enjoy that?
I think that covers everything but god there's so much just. Talk to me, I love you all.
