So Hayden, unsurprisingly, will not be fighting! And as of right now, at least, he's not on the Hit List, so he'd start off pretty invisible with immunity. Waiting to hear back on whether or not this will change anything, but far from staying quiet in safety, he'll want to help the others in trouble. So he'll be focusing his efforts on trying to rescue others in trouble. This can be something that maybe he talks with you about beforehand, or if you want, he can do it without permission! Hayden's talent is running away, so that's exactly what he'll be trying to do here by opening his small portals to grab any would-be victims and jump into another space of the cave.
He could take them to a safe zone--he could work with someone in charge of a safe zone if you'd like--or he, in his panic, could teleport them both to somewhere that isn't even all that safe (he makes a lot of coordination mistakes, but it's the thought that counts, right?). There are a whole lot of possibilities here with his ability. Ultimately, he could be convinced to settle down out of trouble for awhile, but he'd be too upset to sit still when he thinks he can use his ability for good.
He'd also be interested in visiting Hope in case they could use him there (a failsafe to temporarily remove Hope from danger if the Null completely break through the guard or w/e), but since Hope already has a good rotating guard I'm gonna assume he'd be better off utilized elsewhere for now.
He will, also, get exhausted after awhile. He's not used to such high repetition of his ability in a short period of time, and he's largely untrained, so ultimately it'll take a toll on his body to jump larger distances within the cave. So he could land up in a "needing rescuing" situation there too, especially when I know whether or not his passive resistance would turn him into a target as well.
