Exactly. He's pretty good with just chilling. I mean, the Null were pretty forward about their intentions (not that Light trusts a single thing going on but he hasn't been here long enough to really make a decision on sides—he'll just kill the side that wins if they suck).

Also, just a heads up, but I can see Light getting a crush on Laura. She's very similar to his (dead) girlfriend, meaning he likes pretty manipulative women. Poor dude.
