Well.......Komaeda despises hospitals and would prefer not to go in them. It's perfectly possible he could go past and they spot each other (it's not impossible to get him inside the clinic but he'd rather not be in there if he can avoid it). And idk if there are errands he could do or there's a Null attack that happens when they meet.
