Very painful and unpleasant! It isn't instant, but it doesn't take very long, either. It will happen faster the closer to the device you are - so if you are on the outskirts of the affected area, it's possible you could make your way outside of the area before it killed you. If not, expect blood coming out of your ears, nose, and mouth as your brain breaks down under the sound waves.
