Mod Post: Plot Direction
Hello all!
We've recently gotten a little feedback about the current state of the game and we wanted to let you guys know that we're listening and understand the concerns, and we're seeing what we can do about it. We weren't aware there were issues until recently, so we apologize if this seems late. We'd really like to stress that we are both super open to feedback and we'll always do our best to accommodate it, so please let us know if you have a concern!
Anyway, the long and short of it is that we're working out ways to retool the entire plot for the second half of this arc to make things more character-interactive and intense for players. It's a little tricky, because we generally meant for this game to be more event-focused, with flavor of the month monsters and various events. Though the plot kind of took wings, we didn't really intend for it to be the front-and-center focus of the game, more like a vehicle for which fun rp prompts can happen.
We're absolutely touched and thrilled that folks are really into the plot, though, and in trying to take a turn to make the game more plot-focused, it's understandable that we'd hit a few snags. We're sorry for any frustrations this may have caused, and we're definitely going to do our best to find good ways to up possible participation and intensity for people interested in getting involved in the overarching plot.
We really appreciate the patience, just like we appreciate (and love!) your passion and investment in our game. As this post is intended to be a simple head's up rather than a discussion, please leave any further feedback on the feedback post! We are already hard at work on plotting out changes and so we may not be able to get back to you immediately, but we'll read any feedback we get!
