Hadriel Newbie Integration!

If you've joined the game in the last few months, you've come at an exciting plot time. But it's also pretty difficult to navigate the long-sailed waters of this game, right? There's a lot of history and metaplot that your character has missed, and the older characters are so used to this brand of crazy that they might not be as helpful as they want to be.

So, in the spirit of helping people out, and after discussions on plurk, we thought it would be a good time to get some feedback and hopefully set up potential ways your character can get involved. As the CR meme is coming up soon, we don't want to make this too much about specific CR, but rather your character's integration in the city.

Character Name: Steak
Skills they have: Fighter, traveller and essentially immortal short of something killing him, Steak is something of a jack-of-all-practical-trades. You need a handyman? He can do that. Need something killing? That's what he lives for.
Things your character would like to achieve: Steak is all about protecting and serving the humans. He has picked up a lot of skills in his centuries of existence and he will put them to use here. :) Look out for a post soon!

Character Name: Lucretia
Skills they have: Wizard, painter, writer. Speaks eight languages. Can write with both hands simultaneously. Though she's an incredibly powerful wizard and won't hesitate to use her magic to help people if the opportunity arises, she's not particularly likely to think to volunteer it in a more general sense.
Things your character would like to achieve: She wants to research and document the story of Hadriel, and do whatever she can to collate and prepare resources for newbies coming in, because she's a big fuckin nerd.

Character Name: Agent Maine
Skills they have: Maine is a soldier who knows very little else. He had two teammates when he arrived in December (now just one teammate) and tends to follow the lead of others. He's pure human but is extremely strong and could certainly train others, either in physical fitness or in combat. He also has an innate understanding of weaponry, so he can give instruction if people need that!
Things your character would like to achieve: Two things here, one IC goal and one OOC goal:

IC goal: GYM!! He wants to create a gym. He heard that Hadriel doesn't have one and that is a travesty. I actually have no idea how to start making this happen either ICly or OOCly, so uh. /spreads arms wide!
OOC goal: I'd like for him to start learning new methods to communicate, since he's no longer able to speak. I think that's more of a CR meme thing, unless there's a language-learning center around? ... And if there's not, heyyyy what a great OOC goal! /o/
