Event OOC: On A Pedestal

THE RUNDOWN

All the gods know they need power. They've got to be in top condition - or as close as possible - before the Null arrive to potentially kill everyone. Hope is next up and we hope (forgive us for using every pun opportunity we can get for the next few months) everyone enjoys what he has in store!

Does someone inspire you? Does their leadership give you strength? No? Well, maybe it should- so from April 12th through April 16th, you'll find yourself trailing after someone else like they hung the moon. Inspiration comes in many forms though- you may look for orders, companionship, or just try hanging onto their every word. After all, it's not often that you get to meet your heroes, is it?

THE DETAILS

This effect is not a compulsion so much as it is something that draws you to another person. While everyone can have multiple inspirations throughout the course of the event, each character can only have one at a time- this does mean however, that two characters can become figures of hope and leadership to one another... though that might get a little weird.

The admiration can reflect itself in many forms, through whatever would be most IC for your character. Would you paint a picture of this person? Tell everyone else about how great they are? Follow them around until they're sick of you?

And as for the targets of these followers- well, you just kind of have to deal with it. You can have your own source of inspiration as well, but unfortunately, there's no magical leadership qualities being handed out. You're still just you, except maybe a little confused that this person is suddenly doting on you. Try not to use your newfound influence for nefarious purposes!
