Hmm, good question! I think that there will definitely be a general awareness on both sides that Something Is Not Right, but whether you'd want to make the characters figure out what's going on or not is up to you!

After the first day or so though, it would probably be pretty clear what was going on, and that knowledge would translate into the dreams as well.
