SO why not welcome a newbie properly with his own personal monster? The general form is something like this. Only, shorter. About a foot taller than he is. There are other differences. Instead of much of its face, there is a flickering screen, scrolling code. (It's unlikely anyone will recognize lines from the Jaeger coding, but that's what it is.) The back of its head is open, brain exposed, and it looks swollen, inflamed. The screen's not the only mechanical bit -- here and there the skin's torn open, revealing mechanical parts, as if it was a Precursor-android(or cyborg). Some scattered bits of this.

It teeters when it walks, as if it's perpetually off balance, stumbling. Its wings are also ripped, so if it were to try to fly, it would only get three feet off the ground before falling.

It's M.O.? Attack anyone who gets within seven feet of Dr. "impulse to maintain controlling distance." But, you know, don't worry. It's not very good at it. Hasn't got a jaw to bite, its claws aren't much. It's clearly pretty weak and very slow, so, mostly just a problem for him.

Plus something else but I'll let Nikki handle that, since I've already typed too much lol. There's a thing coming out of the brain, it's a thing.
