Carlisle's monster is an inky abomination that isn't terribly aggressive until it gets big enough to be a threat. It lurks in the shadows until then, seeping in through corners of the room, cracks in the walls, and any other space it can slide through. It feeds on guilt, so when it's around, characters might hear constant whispers encouraging them to rethink and relive their worst moments. It might trickle down the walls, encasing an entire room, or occasionally shift in shape to resemble some image from the guilt it's feeding on.

The more it manifests, the more of a threat it is, its whispers reaching further and further. While it'll mostly hunting Carlisle, it won't be afraid to lash out at anyone nearby, and might even be drawn to someone who seems more guilt-laden than Carlisle himself is. It'll try to drag anyone it catches into its body to trap them, keeping them alive in an air pocket and feeding off their woes until they suffocate or go mad, like most of the twice-cursed.

In good news, it moves fairly slowly, oozing like a thick, inky liquid. In bad news, that means it can creep into pretty much any place imaginable, and it hides well in the darkness that'll be hitting the town. And given Carlisle's tendency to blame himself for everything, it'll have a healthy diet to start with. :<
