On April 17th, everyone will receive the same letter posted to their front door:

Rage's Pillow War: Get out all that anger by hitting other people with pillows!

Confusion's Hedge Maze: Find your way to the center of the maze for some fabulous prizes!

Love's Mystery Dating: Draw a name, have some fun together!
Location: Speakeasy Bar
Day 6
Delight's Open Mic: Miss the singing at the bar? Hang out with some friends and unleash your creativity! Liquid courage provided.
Location: Library
Day 7
Sorrow's Formal: Find something nice to wear and come for a final masquerade ball to end our week of thanks.
Location: Colosseum (will be decorated)

The entries speak for themselves, and you're free to pick and choose which event you'd like to go to! Are you curious to meet other sexy singles in your area? Or maybe you just want to beat the shit out of Stacy with a pillow? Well, here's your chance! All of the gods will be found at each of their locations, organizing and orchestrating each event in an attempt to keep things from going awry (though, in Rage's case, she may be encouraging the awry-ness...)

Participation is strictly voluntary, though you may find yourself drawn to any particular event if you're in the area. Good luck, have fun, and try not to blow anything up this time...

THE DETAILS
Each event will be held in its respective location and each event will be mostly what it says on the tin- a race, a place to sing your heart away, a masquerade ball... basically lots of social fun, with the gods actually trying to put on a good time and please everyone in genuine thanks. Still, there are a few notes for the different events!

► The Feast: will be expansive, with plenty of food to take home and save for leftovers for the next few days. Many different scrumptious kinds of foods are available here, all clearly marked with their ingredients. Hope can be found dishing people up servings here and there, and generally making sure that the food is to everyone's liking.

► The Moped Race: will be on a track made near the moped lot, and will actually feature several races as people show up and pick their ride out! Tranquility will be there to assist with any injuries or difficulty with the mopeds, and he'll also be organizing each race and giving countdowns for them. You don't get anything for winning, but bragging rights have to be worth something, right?

► The Pillow War: will take place in the Colosseum, at Rage's behest. The arena of sorts will be modeled into a large ring that can fit a dozen people inside. Scattered around the ring are pillows of various densities, shapes, and sizes. Rage will be doing her part, running around the sidelines and coaching anyone who seems uncertain- so why not turn toward the person next to you and give them a minor concussion with fluff?

► The Hedge Maze: will be located in the orchard, in a separate section. Confusion has sprang up hedges overnight and is not offering any sort of map navigation through their labyrinthine passageways. This maze is very tricky, though if you're okay with getting pretty scratched up by thorns and brambles, feel free to try and cheat and cut between the walls! At the center of the maze is your fabulous prize... a compass laying all majestic on a pillar. Pretty lame? But wait! Further investigation will yield that this compass does not point North, and instead points you in the direction toward whatever place, person, or object you whisper into it. This compass has three uses and there will only be two given out, on an RNG basis (under the assumption that they will be the first two characters to find the center of the maze). Those of you who do not find the magical compass will find a regular old plastic one, good for... drawing circles, I guess.

► The Mystery Date: will not necessarily be romantic, but will be hosted temporarily in the new Speakeasy bar by none other than Love, who will be offering each person who walks in the name of someone who they should go on a (potentially platonic) date with! Names will not be provided by the mods, but we encourage everyone to pick someone you may not have CR with and have fun! The entire town is your oyster, with plenty activities to do and ways to get to know one another. Visit our locations page for inspiration for some choice date spots!

► The Open Mic: will be hosted at the library ~~since Delight's bar was not only blown up, but also replaced :(~~ by none other than Delight! She'll be running around and making sure that everyone has a drink in their hands, and will be calling folks up to the stage to sing a song, recite a poem, tell an engaging story, or try out their dreams of being a comedian! It's a fun place to be if you want to just hang out, get drunk, and maybe share some of your teen angst with the world.

► The Formal: will take place back in the Colosseum, though since the pillowfight, it has been completely ravamped. Now, the place looks chic and almost swanky, with fairy lights hovering around the edges of the arena and long tables with refreshments and snacks. Music plays from an unknown source, all very classy and tasteful, and Sorrow himself can be seen wandering through the attendees, ensuring that everyone meets dress code. It is announced as a Masquerade but masks aren't strictly required- though formalwear is, so please don't show up looking like you rolled out of bed! To prepare for this, throughout the week the stores will be stocked with dresses and suits of all different colors, lengths, and sizes, and even in the arena, one of the side rooms has been converted to a dressing room with some spare outfits, for any of you last-minute attendees. The masquerade will last well on into the night before Sorrow closes up shop and gently clears the place out so that it can be returned to normal.
