hey! i'm javid, and you mayyy remember me from my previous time here as papyrus from undertale before life kind of exploded and i disappeared. well, things are a lot more stable these days, so i'm back! and this time, i bring with me one magnus burnsides from the adventure zone, a dnd podcast in which magnus is one of the pcs from the current game.

magnus is known for intense sideburns, always rushing in, and chopping off (usually robotic) arms. he's coming in right after waking up in the back room of the fantasy costco in episode 59, so that means he hasn't yet recovered all his gear or summoned the overpowered sword, and, most notably, that he is completely, entirely naked. so. that's happening. he will definitely need some pants and a replacement axe as soon as possible.

I'm Inigo - I apped here a little while back with Josh Washington from Until Dawn, and unfortunately, the timing on that didn't work out, but now I'm back in with another horrorkid!

Well. A grown horrorkid, but all the same.

Meet Miss Zoe Baker from Resident Evil 7, the last remaining relatively level-headed and under-control member of a Louisiana family turned serial-killing cannibal clan, coming to Hadriel after three years of done-ness and effort towards curing herself of the family madness-inducing affliction so she can safely leave their estate. She can be a bit cagey, aloof, and suspicious both ways, but has a cool, casually-thoughtful air and shrewdness that don't make her too difficult to approach or deal with otherwise - and getting the first change of scene she's had in ages might just help her loosen up a bit.

She is also a particularly spoiler-entangled character from a fairly new game! If you'd like her to stay away from your characters, or if you simply want to avoid certain territory in any threads we might wind up having, please, drop me a comment on her opt-out post (feel free to use that for any other reason, as well, esp. considering she's from a horror canon - comments are screened)!

Hey there! I'm Dante, player of Napstablook, bringing a second character to this delightful game. This is Mae Borowski from Night in the Woods, a cute little game that focuses on life in a small, dying coal mine town. And there's spoopy stuff happening on the side.

Mae here is a college dropout, recently returned home before winding up here. She's a ball of issues, a mess of anxiety, hyperactive, and will wreck stuff if she's in the mood for it. She's also got a problem with sticking her foot in her mouth far too often.

AYOOO HADRIEL, this is Alex (Alphys' player) bringing in a second character because I just can't quit ya'll, Taako from The Adventure Zone!

For the canonblind, TAZ is a D&D podcast, and Taako is a high elf wizard and one of the main adventuring party of the current campaign. His skills include letting his teammates do the heavy lifting while he sits back with a cucumber sandwich, insults, and cooking. Like, in fact, he's actually really good at cooking. He'll be coming in near the beginning of episode 59 as he gets eaten by the floor outside the Director's office, before everything quite pops off because that part hasn't finished airing yet.

For player reference, Taako has a ton o magic (all his spells can be found for easy access here; for the D&D nerds among us, he's level 12!), but some of these involve the influence of other character's feelings and movement. I'll be sure to reach out if it looks like magic might come into play in a thread against your character, but if you'd rather opt out entirely and/or avoid certain types of magic, he has a permissions post for just that.

Hello everyone! Bee here (Dr. Rosen's player) bringing you this cutie. Whistler is a phone 'phreak' from the ridiculous but wonderful 90's hacker film 'Sneakers'. If he looks vaguely familiar it might be because he is played by David Strathairn who also, many years later, played Rosen. (I love the man's work, what can I say) But I would appreciate that we not do any 'oh he looks like a young version of Rosen' type stuff as I'd like to avoid any crossed wires or playercesting. 

Whistler has a mischievous but sweet disposition and he enjoys a good prank or naughty joke. He is also 100% blind so apologies ahead of time if he tries to feel your face.

Yes hello Hadriel, nice to be here. I'm Carrie and I'll be playing Matt from Death Note, aka "who's that guy?"

For the most part he's pretty low-key and not a huge troublemaker like some all other DN characters so it's going to be interesting to see what happens if trouble finds him! Or if it doesn't, and he spends the next month trying to decipher the microwave. Easy breezy. He's understandably paranoid and probably a bit of a liar when it comes to...his entire identity so we're gonna have fun with that~

I also play Mello over at Ryslig, so it's going to be fun to be in two games with two wildly different characters from the same canon. I can't wait to see just how crazy or mundane things end up for Matt over here.
