Planetary Rundown: The Archipelago
You voted, and we tallied those votes! Well, the poll function did that for us, but still. The winner, by a good margin, was the ocean planet. Don't worry, you'll probably get to see the rest eventually, but for now... take a look at your new home.

THE ARRIVAL
After the decision was made to move the city, the gods held a poll - and Fear held an event to get a little boost of power. Hey, transporting an entire city and all its inhabitants is hard work, so thanks for your tiny contribution of fear! Make sure you've done all the exploring you wanted before May 27th, because that's the day Fear will move everything.
The transfer is almost instantaneous. For extremely sensitive characters, there may be a very brief moment of disorientation, but most people won't notice anything. After all, Fear was transporting the city every few months when it was underground, and no one was affected then. This, however, will be a little more obvious, as the two suns above will disappear and be replaced with a cloudy sky and a single sun.
The city will be moved entirely intact. Everything within the city will be moved, from houses to people to any monsters that might have wandered in. Everything outside the city will be left behind, and if that happens to be a character, well, sucks for you. Fear can't go back to fetch anyone, so that would be an automatic drop - which is to say, make sure you're in Hadriel when the move happens. And what'll you find when it's all over?
THE ISLANDS
Last time, the city arrived entirely intact. This time, everything that was in the city will arrive, but the city itself will be... different.
This world is mainly ocean, dotted with small islands. In the location where Fear decided to put the city, there are no islands large enough to contain the entire city. So Hadriel itself has been separated, broken up onto four different islands. Wherever you were when the city moved, that's where you are now, so if you weren't at home, you might not get home for awhile. It might be on another island entirely, separated from you by cold, churning ocean. Oh, and for the first couple weeks there are no boats.
Whatever was on the islands before is gone, replaced by the familiar buildings and streets of Hadriel, except now some of the streets simply end at cliffs and rocky beaches, only to be continued on another island some distance away. The distance between islands varies, but the closest points are about a quarter mile apart, and everything else is further. It isn't always too far, and you might be able to swim it, but the oceans surrounding the islands are not exactly peaceful and warm.
The climate is temperate - cloudy and cool, with occasional rain. While the sun peeks out sometimes, and there are even clear and bright days from time to time, you can generally expect overcast skies and light rainfall, with a good amount of wind blowing across the unsheltered tops of the islands. Every once in awhile small storms will sweep in from the ocean, bringing rain and higher winds, but they're nothing dangerous - as long as you're on land. So... not exactly great beach weather overall, but maybe a nice change from all that desert heat, right? In addition, this world has only one sun, as well as one moon with a 12 day cycle.
Besides the islands the city is on, the ocean is dotted with a number of other islands - some as much as a mile or two across, others barely more than a boulder sticking out of the ocean. There are a few close enough to be visible from the city, but even the closest are much too far to swim to. The islands the city has been placed upon are reasonably close together, and the water between them is relatively calm as long as the wind's low. But venture too far beyond these islands, and the water gets deep and choppy and very, very cold. Exploring is going to be a tricky proposition, at least until you get some decent boats.
Traveling might be worth it, though - on the islands where Hadriel has appeared, there are no plants or animals besides what came with the city and some varieties of grass and moss along the rocky shores. On other islands, however, there's a bit more: grass, small trees, flowers, and even various kinds of small rodent and bird-like animals. Also on some of these islands might be found strange artifacts - but that's a story for later. In the ocean itself, if you choose to brave the cold waves, there are various types of fish, seaweed, and out in the deeper waters you might even catch sight of whale or shark-like creatures. Of course, none of them resemble anything from Earth, and some of them are quite dangerous.
OTHER DETAILS
As stated earlier, when the city first arrives on this new world, there won't be any boats. If you happened to be away from home, you might need to find somewhere to stay for awhile on whichever island you ended up on! The gods will quickly become aware of the need for ocean transportation, though, and after a week or two will begin to supply various different kinds of boats. None of them are built for long distances, so stay close to home for now. Oh, and there aren't enough for everyone in the city to have one, so you'll have to learn to share - and to drive or row them. Or maybe you'd rather just cut down a few trees from the park and try to make your own?
Another thing to keep in mind is that from now on, when the Door opens, any monsters that come through will have nowhere to go. Luckily, Hope pushed all the previous monsters out, leaving the city nice and clear when it arrives on the new world - but now that the city is surrounded by water, that'll be a much more difficult prospect. The island that the colosseum is on will have the worst of it, unless flying or swimming monsters arrive, so some of you will be able to put your monster-hunting skills to good use.
So have fun in your new home! The weather's a nice change, at least, and if any of you like going for ocean cruises you'll be set for awhile. The monsters might be a tiny problem, plus potentially ending up on a different island than your house, but hey, it's no big deal. It's all a new adventure, right?
