Hello, Hadriel! I'm Chris and I'm a long time creepy stalker, first time player in your wonderful game. Things never really lined up for me to app over the years, but HERE I AM NOW. And so excited to be here.

And I'm bringing in, as his friends call him, Percival Frederickson Musseldorf Musketeer Sanchez Vicario Nina Pinta Santa Maria Granola Von Lichenstein Kevin Dorf Wesley Snipes Magneto Traguna Macoities Tracorum Satis Dee de Monoco de Lightful de Lovely de Rolo III.

(Some of those names may be omitted due to being woefully inaccurate, but honestly his actual name isn't that better. You can call him Percy.)

This is kind of a moot point, since I know y'all had a Percy recently, so you probably know the ins and outs of him by now. FROM THE NERDY VOICE ACTOR D&D SHOW CRITICAL ROLE! GUNSLINGER! TRAGIC PAST! BIG NERD! BAG OF BROKEN GLASS AND BAD DECISIONS.

He's coming in from a slightly earlier canonpoint (towards the end of episode 69, to be exact, right after some bad things happen and before some even worst things happen, to be vague). And anyone who knew him previously will be met with confusion, and probably some suspicion that this is some Feywild bullshit, but go ahead. Tell him anything about his time here, there's a 50% chance he'll believe it, even if that went poorly for Scanlan. (We'll see how fast he can find someone who knows Greater Restoration to show him he's NOT missing any memories, and can't prove anything either way, because it's funny to fuck with him.)

Percy is gonna die.

His name's Oscar, and he's a nerdy automaton from the adventure game series Syberia! He's completely harmless, but it wouldn't be the first time someone's been scared of him! Unless you mean Percy will die from, like... excitement? Which would be cool also ig.

DIE FROM EXCITEMENT... and mild jealousy of his creators. There's an Artificer from later on in Critical Role with a much more simple automaton that he's so pettily jealous of at first until he realizes it was made mostly by magic.

So forgive him for being a giant pompous nerd at Oscar and probably having to be "gently" reminded that automatons are people too. He can be very terrible.

No, please, pompous nerd away! If Percy even suggests Oscar was made by magic, Oscar will argue the opposite. A mechanical genius created him, how dare.
