HEY what do you think about not rehashing the meeting in the next intro log and counting the tdm as some kind of canon? That way they can sit down to a drink and really talk.

He'll have a place set for Law at the table even before he shows up like YES GOOD YOU ARE GOING TO EAT. Law is the closest thing he has to his crew; he's going to be the only guy Sanji spoils rotten. Also someone has to help him eat all of his failed experiments with these shitty backwards hadriel kitchens.

I am 100% okay with this. The TDM thread was a good starting point, so I'd rather their first thread in game be Sanji complaining because fuck you, Law. "You don't need me to be tour guide, do you?" He said that, knowing exactly what this place is like? The guy's just as bad as Luffy except smart enough to be doing it on purpose.

Okay so funny story I got accidentally hardcore enabled into this fandom pretty recently thanks to Caedra here ending up extra-snuggly with Law and I had to go see what he was like in canon and welp now I've read a few hundred chapters from the beginning and watched from Punk Hazard through Zou. So that's been a good time.

Anyway Caedra here is originally an NPC from a DnD game I DM. She's a villain; a demon who is the grandmother to one of the former player characters, and she loves all things murder and violence and destruction! But she also wants to find a way home so sometimes she helps in between trying to kill people.

I've got two OCs from different series I've been writing. Rey here is from my dystopian sci-fi books and she's a synthetic person thing that looks like a lady but is built like a tank and sets shit on fire. Also good news, Sanji, she likes women too. Bad news is you're not one.

My other character is Ravine (whip_poor_will) who is from a pro-apocalyptic supernatural-ish about immortals and such in the aftermath of the end of the world, it's fun times. She's a super tall Psychopomp who's so chill it's almost criminal.

All the characters in DD have ridiculous names, it's part of the charm. It's a fairly obscure comic, I think, though the music videos that inspired it are a bit bigger. I'm more surprised when people are familiar, actually.

The comic is a continuation/rewrite of My Chemical Romance's videos for their four album, written by their singer/now actual DC comic book writer Gerard Way. It's a six issue mini, but I highly recommend it if you like weird, punk apocalypse stories.
