Nice to meet y'all- the name's Mima. I've literally never roleplayed on Dreamwidth before, mostly only done forum PBP roleplay with one or two expeditions into tumblr or something. So please bear with me as I get used to the ups and downs and general quirks of the platform. It's certainly way different, but let's hope it's different in a good way.

Anyway, Sumireko! Yeah, she's your typical nerdy isekai protagonist, haughty high school girl with psychic powers who found herself in a different world, all that. Kind of obsessed with the occult, and a walking ball of contradictions and hypocrisy as a character so that's nice. She's a bit hard to get to know unless you interest her in some way because of her abrasive personality and egocentricism, but I'm sure the situation will drive some change in her, too. Just give her some time to adapt. Or don't, and be mean right back to her! I don't mind.

A general note since a whole game just dropped about 12 hours ago now with her as the protagonist: Her voice may change a smidge once that gets translated, or it may not. Considering the Sumireko in the game may not even be the real one, who knows.

I'm definitely canonblind but Sumireko sounds super interesting. I'm Lauren, and I play Caedra here, an OC who started life as an NPC in the DnD game I DM for and has now gotten to be more than just a minor villain. She's a demon, loves everything violence and murder and hatred, absolutely does not have a heart of gold buried anywhere, but sometimes she tolerates people for her own benefit. So she can be awful and I apologize - please please do feel free to ask questions or message me any time at all as I try to make sure to keep communication open given how she can be sometimes. Hello and welcome to the game! I'm Hattie and I play Girl here from Danger Days/Fabulous Killjoys. I'm not familiar with Sumireko's canon, but I'm always hyped for more teenagers in the game.

Yeah, always nice to have characters within a certain age range because they can have a lot more interesting dynamics in relationships right at the start. I can't say I'm familiar either, but hey, it'll be a learning experience! And thank you!

I'm Revu, and I play a couple of OCs from some novels that I've been writing. Rey here is from a dystopian/scifi series that deals with robots and AI and all that fun stuff, where she's a synthetic person who can manipulate heat and a selection of colorful curse words. Ravine (

whip_poor_will) is from a different series more focused on supernatural/pro-apocalyptic stuff about immortals at the end of the world, and she is a 3000+ year old death spirit thing who's pretty chill and neutral to most people's problems (I've got a permissions post for her because she's a psychic and those abilities can get pretty invasive).

Both of your OCs seem really neat! I do like me some post apocalyptic stuff, and Ravine specifically seems like she'd at least exist in the background of Sumireko's life given her abilities. I'll have to give some thought as to a few of the questions for permissions though, because the answers I give to them will significantly vary depending on which Sumireko I choose to play. Which I will... definitely give a "canon update" on ASAP, or at least by the next app round.

(Side tangent, I don't know what I expected completing my app literal days before a game came out all about her- and unfortunately, it seems like said game took place, at least partially, chronologically before I've set her start date. And brought up some pretty significant questions I have to consider regarding her character going forward, in addition to exposing the fact some of my profile is now either factually wrong or I need to significantly elaborate on her history to make logical. So I definitely need to figure out what I want to do with regards to that content. Damn me for guessing wrong as to which of the three Sumirekos lived through the events of the last game, I guess.)
