Greetings Hadrielites! It's December, and you know what that means! And if you don't, it means

How does this work? From now until December 10th, you sign up using this post! On the 11th, I'll send out your assignments, so make sure you check your e-mail! Or if you'd rather just be PMed, make note of that, and I'll send it that way instead. Once you know your giftee, you come back here, see who they play, maybe get some ideas for what kind of gift they might like, or come up with something on your own! Be as creative as you like!

Then, the magic happens on December 26thish, when the Santas make their deliveries to all the good alcoholics and walking disasters of Hadriel! Another post like this one will go up on that day, and you deliver to your giftee in a comment!

If you finish early, please hold onto your gift so they can all be delivered at the same time! However, if you're going to be out of town or on a trip, you can let me know in your sign-up, and I can post your gift of your behalf, or I can let your giftee know that their Santa didn't forget about them -- they'll just have to be patient until you get back! Alternatively, if you want to remain an anonymous Santa for *~extra mystery~*, I can post your gift and let them know you wished for your identity to remain a secret. :> If you need to do this, please PM me on

But what if you sign up, and then you discover you just don't have time to finish? That's okay, too! If you think you are going to miss the deadline, please let me know! No giftee is going without a gift. Santa doesn't play that way, and makes sure there are pinch-hitters just in case of emergencies.

Gifts can be just about anything: fanart, fanfics, comics, poetry, sprites you made in MSPaint, an OST you put together just for their character, paid time, DW points, commissioned icons, extra icon slots, a macaroni picture featuring their character -- just get creative and have a blast with it! The only request is to try to make it Hadriel-centric in some way, but if you can't, it's okay! Having fun and making someone happy for the holidays is the priority. ♥

Have a favorite thread you'd like them to take inspiration from? Santas aren't obligated to use those ideas, but it might help them get their creative juices flowing!
HARD NOS: Things you'd prefer NOT to receive! Too much gore, too much fluff, anything over PG-13 rating, pairings that just aren't your thing even if they're the fandom darlings, etc.

FAMILIAR CANONS: Please list some of the canons you're familiar with! It might not actually determine who you're assigned to, but I will try to get assignments to canon-familiar Santas if I can. If you need help thinking of some, check the Taken list for ideas on what canons we have represented in Hadriel.

ADOPTION: Just a yes or a no for this one! If we have someone who can't get their gift in time, are you willing to pinch-hit? If not, no worries! I just know some folks might want to offer, so here's the space for that.

circumitus, a one-eyed radioactive monster cat, and is the current leader of the Guard. He's also robros with

offloaded now. None of those elements are necessary, but just some notes for inspiration!
