THE OVERVIEW
For the first few days, it's just paranoia. Something that makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck, like someone- or something- is watching you. You turn around and there's nobody there, you call out and nothing responds. Then, it's simple things- small things, like the knife you set down and turned away from for just a second is now facing the opposite direction. Your porcelain figures on the mantle are rearranged, your folded clothes are all now suddenly inside-out. It kind of feels like an elaborate prank at first, but who would do something like this?
The first time something moves in front of you, you might feel like you're seeing things, like your stuffed animal just happened to fall off of the bed, not that it... well, jumped. But as time goes on, it's apparent that the objects around you seem to have minds- and wills- of their own and most of them are not friendly...
THE DETAILS
As the event ramps up, larger and larger objects will be affected but this event is opt-in, meaning that nothing has to be affected if you don't want it to be. Even entire houses can find themselves coming to life and rebelling against the owners by locking you inside, shrinking the walls and rooms, and eventually trying to consume you!
Objects will not be able to speak and their strength is proportional to their size- your fork can't bench press you, but your couch might try to throw you off of it and squish you underneath its cushions. Most of the items will be malicious, intent on causing fear, annoyance, or even anger in their victims. While they won't necessarily seek out death, their actions can be deadly, as they don't necessarily seem to know much about the vulnerabilities of the human body.
Will you run away from your house and try to sleep in the park to escape it? Or will you take an axe and fight back?
THE OVERVIEW
► January 17th: It begins
► January 19th: The event ramps up and becomes dangerous
► January 25th: Event is over and everything reverts to normal

Taako has a spell called Animate Objects that lets him control, well, objects- would he be able to override the will of these things temporarily or would it just make them Super Pissed?
