Hi everyone! My name is Sam, and I'm brand new to Hadriel. I'm also really crappy with intros so I apologize.

I'm bringing in Julia Wicker from The Magicians books (not the TV show). Julia here is a hedge witch, meaning she didn't go to some fancy private magic school because she's not a stuck up snob. But no actually she failed the exam and they rejected her but the mind wipe didn't work so instead she wound up severely depressed and obsessive until she clawed her way into magic of her own.

That's it, really. She shouldn't have magic but she went out and got it. And she did a lot of bad things to get it. But she's a level 250 hedge witch, meaning she is the highest a hedge witch can be. They stop teaching after 250 because at that point it's just repeating variations of the 250 spells from before. She's a bit bitchy, hard to relate to, and pretty pissed off since her friends just summoned a god and instead of getting the goddess of fertility they got Reynard the trickster. Who promptly killed everyone she loved in front of her before she wound up in Hadriel. She is from just before Reynard accepts her sacrifice, too.

It really just depends who you want to hurt since she's not the kindest to anyone........ she might be kinder to the werewolf at least???

thom is a good investment if you're talking about physical hurting because healing abilities, woohoo, but if we're talking emotionally lloyd is pretty hard to knock off center.

I'm not familiar with BB and Chie beyond rp. I have read Death Note a long time ago but not that Death Note! But they sound interesting and Nick sounds really cool too! I think her and Julia might really get along

in a nutshell - beyond is from the same genius factory that turned out near and mello, though from an earlier generation. he went off the rails and set up some murders to prove he was better than L. (yeah ... the logic is skewed with this one.) also he was born with shinigami eyesight, for extra fun. i have permissions about that, general permissions + opt-out, and bunches of teal deer about him. he sort of resembles L because he's a copycat??? and he's a crau so he's actually a little bit less of an asshole than he used to be.

nick is working on the whole friendship thing, lloyd is teaching her :'c but yeah, julia sounds like a kindred spirit.

oh my gosh i'm just so glad someone else knows them!! but also super nervous jihwr and yeah i ended up changing my mind on canon point so i could tackle the loss of humanity thing later so edged it as close as i could. which was why i ended up dropping tdm threads since i had her post-humanity loss there

anyway! i think you made the right call, because then you've got a lot of character development to work with, however horrible it'll be. :C
