So, Stareyes here. I'm new to the game, but I think I have a few Plurk friends in it. I'm bringing in a character from the books of Steven Brust, Tazendra. She's an elf (of sorts) who who likes fights and dislikes subtlety. She probably thinks she's better than you, but she's totally all right to defend the weak.

We'll see how she does with the fact her sorcery doesn't work off-world and I've chosen maybe one of three canon points where she's disarmed (not that she'll stay like that for long once someone tells her about the armory, but it affects her intro). Or with realizing how many problems can't be solved with massive applications of force.

As for me, I can be found on Plurk as beccastareyes. It's summer for me and I am a college professor, so things are a bit more relaxed.

(Technically Tazendra will ID herself as human, but the actual humans call her species 'elfs' because tall, skinny, pointy eared long-lived magical people.)

You are totally welcome to mess with her, though it's probably pretty easy given how straight-forward she is.

Haha, it's implied in his canon that the difference races didn't even know that Ellyl and humans could reproduce until he happened. So he's all /shrugs shoulders as much as anyone else.

Tazendra likes having a sidekick. Especially since her canonical one just died.
