+1 Game-playing Demi-human

Hello Hadriel! I'm Skai, and I'll be bringing in this lovely gentleman who goes by the name "Sato", from the series Ajin. He's just a few years shy of getting his seniors' discount, likes action movies, and is a huge fan of games. Some of those games are perfectly fine, like Spelunker and Halo. Some of them are prooooobably not, like hijacking planes or trying to decapitate a teenager with a weed-whacker.

He's also an Ajin, a demi-human: someone who seems otherwise completely human but can't be killed. Or, more accurately, they can be killed but revive a few seconds later, all freshened up and ready to go again. His permissions post is here because he's a big ol' psycho and demi-human style immortality means sometimes problem-solving gets kinda gruesome (to say nothing of problem-creating).

Oh yeah, one more thing! Since he's a video game player from a modern setting... don't worry, I'll make sure to check with y'all before saying he even recognizes any game characters here. It's not just the rules, it's also a good idea! And most are pretty safe anyway, Sato likes his platformers and FPS, not your story/RPG whatevers.

Welcome to the game, Skai! I'm Grimme, and I play this OC here and Nick Valentine from Fallout 4. The game is pretty dang new, though the Fallout canon itself isn't, so we can cross any canon-puncturing bridges when we come to them!

Hi Grimme! Yeah, Fallout 4 is definitely too new but Fallout 3 is a total classic that I've never played more than ~20 minutes of, ssssh. I'm excited to meet both your guys (and wouldn't be surprised if Sato ends up running into Nick via City Guard shenanigans at some point).

In good news, aside from the world and a few nods to other places (and some factions like the Brotherhood of Steel), the Fallouts sometimes don't have much to do with one another (especially with 3 and 4, though 1 and 2 do). BUT YES. It won't be immediately apparent he's a Fallout even when he mentions he's a synth, since they're pretty rare outside of the Commonwealth, so it's all good.

S14 is currently running and all the other seasons are on Netflix! Once you hit S6, it's all just glorious! And S11-13 are just utterly amazing! restrains self more!!!

Honestly I think Sato isn't the type to actually say lol video games unless he could completely mess someone up HARD with it. He'll probably just cheerfully know exact armor/weapons details for some strange reason...

The manga is wonderful and I highly recommend if for no other reason than to see the woodchipper trick (I hope it makes it into season 2 this fall but I'm not sure).

Uh ANYWAY nice to meet you! I'm Rae (raelet), I'm a mod here and I play Ronan from The Raven Cycle (foul mouthed punk who can pull objects from his dreams) and Rhys from Tales from the Borderlands (corporate fuckboy with a megalomaniac AI installed in his head). Rhys has actually recreated Pong on everyone's phones and he's been working on some other games as well!

All according to keikaku... I mean, Hi Rae! It really is, and I can't wait for season 2 this fall to catch up (and pass? The manga isn't done yet!) on al the manga shenanigans because the wow factor the last few chapters has been way up there. Also you should totally track down and read the intermission pages when you're done because they're hilarious and yet... there's no reason for them to not be completely canon.

Pong, now that's some nostalgic game-playing action. Can't wait for an opportunity to bounce off your guys and see what happens... I'm real excited for this game, yo!

I'm a retired anime/manga fan- I think the last big series I was really into was KHR, so getting sucked back into one is like nooooo- ! But I'll probably check out the manga when the first season is over and suffer a little more holy crap those intermissions are hilarious, what a dork.
