Heeey, all! I'm Rae (raelet), one of the mods and I play greywaren, aka the angry teenager whose personal goal is to punch half the game. But! I'm bringing you character number two today: Rhys, from the Telltale game series, Tales from the Borderlands!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the canon, Rhys is essentially a cog in the bloodthirsty corporate machine and as the story unfolds, he's slowly learning to either 1. love other people, the power of friendship, blah blah blah, or 2. become the bloodthirstiest cog in the machine and kill all the other cogs. Jury is still out on which one he's leaning toward.

Also, he's possessed by a rogue AI of his dead sociopathic boss. Try saying that three times fast.



As a final note, Rhys can scan characters and get information on their vital signs and things like that! it would help a lot if you guys could take a look at his permissions post and let me know what (if any) information he could pick up on your character!

Hello everyone, I'm Zorn and I'm bringing with me Lord Haurchefant de Fortemps! He's from Final Fantasy XIV, but I'm specifically taking him Post-The Vault from the Heavensward Expansion.



For those not canon familiar, he comes from fantasy catholic french elf town, which is steeped deeply in their religious views concerning their patron deity Halone, and have been stuck in a thousand-year war with sentient dragons—as well as within the last 5 years they have been stuck in an eternal winter. Haurchefant, unlike his countrymen, is a very friendly and welcoming sort of guy, very excitable too. He lives by the knight's code, and has dedicated himself to serving his fellow man. He's a garrison commander back home, but he won't be one to hold too tightly onto that rank here—he's not so arrogant to think anything back home holds any weight in a new world entirely. He's also a bit odd, and has little shame in showing his obvious appreciate for other people's attributes. He's kind of a big weirdo, a nice one, but weird all the same!

Hi! I'm Inky and I'm bringing in the saltiest bag of former Anglo-Saxon murder monster, Gren from Telltale's The Wolf Among Us. If you haven't played it, seriously, it's an amazing game and a whole lot of fun.

For you guys who aren't familiar with Fables or TWAU, Gren is literally Grendel from Beowulf, but living in 1980's New York with the all the hideous fashion sense that you would expect out of that decade. He's a bitter, angry bag of salt and foul language wrapped up in a glamour that makes him look like a sleazy 1950's greaser wannabe in a continual state of either drunk, hungover, or somewhere in between. He's coming from the end of the game, so he's minus an arm and plus over 9,000 levels in salt.

So yeah, have fun with this unending fountain of poor life decisions.

Hello Hadriel! I'm Vero, living on CST, and since my life is much less exciting than this son of gun's, let's skip right to the important stuff. To this very wonderful game I'm bringing Hawkeye Pierce from a hell of an old show- M*A*S*H. Reluctant draftee of the Korean War, he's spent the last years working as chief surgeon in M.A.S.H 4077 and generally being a nuisance to the poor souls he shares the camp with. Good guy, great doctor. An even greater headache. You'll find out why when we thread, because if I start listing off his issues now I won't be able to stop.

Hello, hello, I'm Lain and I'm bringing you guys Max from Mad Max: Fury Road. He's coming from the end of the movie, so he's decently articulate and mostly sane (we'll see how long that lasts).

He's got a pretty horrible guilt complex and a bad case of PTSD which manifests as visual and auditory hallucinations, especially in stressful situations. Sometimes they're helpful and give him a kind of weird pre-cog thing, but most of the time they aren't. He'll also have his hands full trying to adjust his survival techniques to this very new and different environment while trying as hard as he can not to get too attached to anyone else stuck here with him. Don't worry though, he's really, really bad at that... not forming attachments, not the survival thing.

Hello hello, Hadriel. My name is Kal and I am bringing you The Warden (elf mage Surana flavor) from Dragon Age to you all. Long story short, ten years ago she drank some blood in order to fight monsters and maybe kill a dragon, and now she's sort of screwed in the long run because of it. Overall, she's very pleasant on a surface level, is "conceal-don't-feel" levels of secretive about her own issues, wants to help people, and can totally kill you.

Lucky for all of you, she's also a healer. And has a sword. Hopefully, both will come in handy.

Now some of you might be vaguely from the anime a few years back, but it's important to point out that he's from the manga, so there's more to him and he's from the point where the two media began to diverge.

By which I mean he was stabbed in an airport and left to die by Kanone, oops.

And for those who have absolutely no idea who he is, he's a quarter-English pianist who has achieved international celebrity status, who happens to be quite rude and seemingly emotionless. More importantly, he's got a curse going that makes him violent and manipulative, and he's sworn to become a 'demon who sheds neither blood nor tears' to try to curb it. Fun times.

Hey there! I'm Cat and this here is Seles Wilder from Tales of Symphonia. For those who know canon she's from immediately after the A Long Time Ago audio drama so fun stuff.

For those who aren't familiar Seles is a quarter-elf noble who's spent the past ten years locked up in an abbey as an accessory to a crime her mother committed ("locked" they don't really do a good job of keeping her there when she wants to get out whoops). She also wears the best hat please prepare to be jealous. The sickly sort she gets tired when she overexerts herself, Unspecified JRPG Weak Constitution Illness strikes again.

Not that this will be apparent since she's got a pride streak a mile wide and a mouth that keeps on talking. If you love tsundere hit me up because boy does she have top marks in the class! Thankfully she's still on the young side so she's more of a bumbling tsundere than anything, master of the cutting verbal takedown she is not. Kind of the opposite.

Hello~ Another person on the newbie train here; I'm Ami and I'm bringing in Chris from Until Dawn, that horror game about bad choices and cannibalism.




Chris is the horror-story-required nerd of the group, and he's described by the game as methodical, protective, and humorous. The last of those traits is a bit toned down at the moment due to Chris being somewhat horribly traumatized by the events of Until Dawn, but once he cheers up even the slightest everyone will be subjected to endless dad jokes. That's the real meaning of horror right there.

He'll be coming into Hadriel from post-game, and for those that know UD the particular ending and important Butterfly Effect choices are listed here. Unfortunately, Chris is showing up somewhat injured (his ridiculous talent for shooting a gun is balanced by an inability to land a ten foot drop) and is going to need some help to not get immediately killed by the monsters in the intro log. He's so sick of monsters, guys.

I'm Steph, and I just apped in this guy, Bob Saginowski, aka 'the source of all those pitbull pictures' but actually it's a really good crime movie as well, highly recommend it if you like organized crime mood pieces. I already play Bruce Banner, zen_en_vert. Bob is very different for me, a bit of totally non-powered (comparative) normalcy, and I'm looking forward to throwing him into the mayhem.

Hello Hadriel, I'm bringing you Sarah Kerrigan from the end of StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm. She's very unhappy that her impending crusade against a univere-ending entity has been put on hold so she can deal with this.

She was human once, and then she was an evil alien, and then she was more human again, and now she's a questionably good alien with extra stabby parts.

Kerrigan is an incredibly powerful psychic, and I have a permission post up for mind-reading (though she rarely bothers with that anymore), but I will ask before I have her go invading anyone's thoughts.

She also has her frequently seen almost-pet Zergling with her. Don't worry, it won't bite unless she tells it to. Or if it gets attacked and she isn't paying attention to it.

Hiiii I'm Alexis, and I bring Z Delgado from Power Rangers SPD~

Z is the Yellow Ranger, and the team "fight me" girl. Arguably also the team tomboy. Used to be a thief (think modern-day Robin Hood) with her best friend and later Red Ranger, Jack. She wanted to Make a Real Difference and took the chance to serve in SPD (instead of serving a prison sentence), and the rest is history. She comes into this game a few episodes prior to the end of SPD, so she's not really going to happy about being separated from her team when things have been getting steadily worse in their fight against the Troobian Empire.

Her character arc is pretty standard for Power Rangers. She learns teamwork and trust, gets a legal outlet for her desire to make a difference in the world, and gains a family (in the form of her team). She's big on friendship and will assume the best in people unless she witnesses something dubious. Also, she can replicate, which she mainly does to troll her friends. Or the cops, in her past life.

I'm Blanche and I'm bringing you Legolas of the Tolkien fame, but with a twist! Since he's not coming straight from Arda, but from Drabwurld, aka. as a CRAU from eachdraidh, that fairy war(!!) game. He spent 10 months there and... well, though it's not a long time in the life of an elf a loooot has happened. If you'd like to read more, here is the app that outlines the most important events. But in short, he's coming pimped out in armour and some fancy bow and a very troll-y mist horse, with his hair longer (all the way down to his butt), double-branded (chest & back), and his back "nicely" mauled / scarred courtesy of another elf, which he'll be hiding a lot.

He's still his very much sassy, playful and mostly cheerful self and all, though! (Just a little more willing and likely to hack off a limb if someone touches his hair.)

Hey everyone! I'm Rio and I'm new to Hadriel this round. I've brought Rishfee from Final Fantasy XI with me. He's a bit of a side character in one of the games many expansions, but I look forwards to playing him here!

For those who are unfamiliar Rishfee comes from an Arabic inspired expansion from the first Final Fantasy MMO. He spends most of his time either escorting or standing guard for the Empress and when he's not doing that he's chasing after her because she ran away again! You could say he's had a cushy but boring life so far, but he's also an alchemical abomination. Royal alchemists fused a monster soul to his own which not only allows him to cast physical and magical monster skills, he's also able to absorb monsters essence to learn new ones. He's a pretty nice dude though despite his problems.

Mike is described in the game as 'intelligent, driven and persuasive,' he's a mixture of your 'ladies-man' and 'action hero' trope character you usually find in horror movies. He's very protective of his friends and will risk his life for them...but he's also a jerk with douchey tendencies who sometimes blows himself up because he's dumb.
