let's talk fragments!

Can I just get a quick check on which boats / characters handed their fragments to the lab, Kate or Alphys after returning? And how many they obtained? ALTERNATIVELY, please feel free to chime in if your character kept their fragment, handed it over to Sorrow, etc.

( Also this is just general discussion for what is going on with the fragments because it feels like we're all a little lost regarding who has what and who is involved in holding onto them etc. )

Fragment #Current LocationObtained By
1The LabLaw, Caedra, Glacius, et al.
2The LabNate, Lance, TAZ crew.

Jon and Daenerys would have turned over a fragment to whoever it was assumed they should turn them over to when they went out.

One caveat, though: we didn't get finding a fragment in our mod prompt, we got finding the island with the recent ruins, and because of the way the mod post was phrased and the way August kind of got away from both of us as players for personal reasons (rough times!), I don't think we realized/remembered that whether or not they found a fragment might have been dictated by prompts. I think, when we were trying to get back up to speed in September, we only went back and reread the parts of the initial post that discussed what equipment was available, and I think we had the impression that generally the gods' boats would have pretty good luck with finding the general area of the fragments, but the specific/precise locating on the ocean floor was up to the characters. Because the trip went on longer than we initially intended it to (also for personal reasons), I think we also kind of figured they had to have found a fragment to just not screw the game over on how long they were out with one of the boats. Potentially a big oops on our part!

We didn't thread that out, and have only mentioned it, so if there are more fragments than there should be, then they didn't find one after all and we can just retcon our assumption that they would have (sorry about all that diving, Jon). If, however, there aren't enough fragments and it's ok to assume they found one... go ahead and do that! And I'm sorry for the mistake if there was one -- yikes.

northerndragon: Jon smiled a strange, sad smile. "And pull your hood up. The snowflakes are melting in your hair." (sad smile)

update!

OK, it looks like the mod response on this is that I did read the initial post correctly, and it's cool for them to have found a fragment -- so they did!

They would have turned it in on their return to wherever people were turning them in... so presumably the lab.

(Still sorry about all that diving, Jon. At least it was productive diving?)
