THE RUNDOWN

All this month, the Door's been doing its own things. Presents from home, monsters from everywhere, intense mood swings, people being unable to entirely trust their own senses. Shit's been weird, man, and maybe you've dealt with it well - but maybe you really, really haven't. Don't worry, it's almost over, but not until one more big batch of wackiness.

And in this case, said wackiness involves bringing people from all over the place to the city islands of Hadriel. Rather than just the colosseum, people will appear all over, popping into existence between one moment and the next. Mostly they'll appear on dry land (phew), but it's not impossible that someone could appear in the water - so hopefully everyone can swim. They could even appear in your house, popping into existence just in time to see you lounging on the couch in your jimjams. Awkward.

These people can be from anywhere, any universe, any time. In Hadriel, however, their time is limited. A little over a week later, they'll be gone, along with anything they've brought with them. Of course, some might return, as if the Door still has a hold on them... let's hope it's the ones you wanted to see again.

THE DETAILS

All temporary guests will arrive on October 22nd and disappear on October 30th. Scrambling to accommodate the new arrivals, a few of the gods will throw a welcoming party, with Hope providing food, Love providing liquor, and Rage providing some badass music to dance and/or fight to. Mostly this is intended as a way to get people in one places so that they can (hopefully) find or make some friends who will help them out, because frankly, the gods have enough to do.

But of course, there are plenty of other things to do in the city, and more than that - some of our visitors might have friends already here. Much like our previous Fourth Wall event, there are little to no restrictions on what characters are allowed. Feel free to play a character with too little canon to app, a character closely related to one you already play, or something completely different. You can even play multiple versions of the same character, though if you choose to do that, make sure to get permission if there is already one of that character in-game!

If you're not familiar with the game but would like to participate in the Fourth Wall, please feel free! The event log should be accessible to people with any level of familiarity with Hadriel, and we'll be sure to provide links and examples of things your character can do while they're here. If you have fun and would like to stay, our reserves will open October 25th and our apps open November 1st. Any threads from the Fourth Wall log will be accepted as the application sample, and your character can recover their memories of the Fourth Wall when they arrive on November 10th.

Everyone else will disappear on the 30th and stay gone, no doubt breaking someone's heart. But that's the name of the game, right?
