hey, door squad, got a question for you!

Basically, this would be similar to the kind of wave that happens when a god dies, except it's crazy instead of an emotion and it would effect everyone, Null and Hadrielite alike. (To quote the mod response: It would be temporary, but powerful, and it would push the Null back and confuse the ones within its effective range, making them easier targets. Unfortunately, it would effect everyone, so she might want to warn her fellow defenders first.)
Due to the effects it would have on characters I wanted to use this post to check if anyone had any objections to this happening (I'd place it happening sometime between 13 and 19 hours, i.e. after Sorrow is injured but before Rey blows the staircase) before saying for sure!
(And, also, to use this post as a kind of heads up so people can tailor their tags accordingly if everyone is okay with it.)
Decided this isn't happening, please disregard!

Hello! I'm Dante, and I'm back with Napstablook from Undertale! The last time they were here, Hadriel was still underground. Napstablook is a depressed, extremely introverted ghost monster who loves music. And just like the last time they were here, Napstablook will be made into a human again. They love it. Really.

Hello all! This is Shade, player of Ivar and Leo, bringing back the first character I ever played here for endgame: Ushahin Dreamspinner! He's from a book duology called The Sundering that's basically a perspective flip of a Lord of the Rings style world told from the POV of the bad guys. He's half-human, half-Ellyl (their word for elf), raised by werewolves, and completely insane. He's got psychic powers that he uses mostly to give people nightmares, but even after a couple thousand years he's really not good at tuning people's thoughts out completely.
back and dumber than ever
May. 8th, 2019 04:30 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Hey guys! It's Dani, local Finn Starwars player, here to say that I've brought Merle Highchurch from The Adventure Zone back from the ~great canon beyond~ for endgame! He's got a little canon bump up to the finale episode of Balance in the meantime. It only seemed right to bring him in, since he was the first character I ever apped in here.
Merle's a D&D cleric in the nature domain! It's almost completely irrelevant to any kind of spellcasting he actually does! idk how to explain him, uh. He's equal parts complete idiot and emotionally profound. A messy person with a well-tended soul who goes out of his way not to take things seriously while simultaneously trying very hard?? A kind of old hippie relative figure who is weirdly down for murder, for whom finding joy in day to day life (no matter how crummy) is a basic tenet! He's canonically died like 68 times? That was wild. Anyway if you watch the youtube video up there you'll get the picture of what you're basically in for.
Looking forward to doing some really dumb and/or emotional and/or cool stuff with him!

As endgame (not the movie) begins to descend in full swing, we find ourselves preparing with a month of fear and last-minute scrambles. What have you been doing to prepare for the eventual battle? What CR do you have that needs to be resolved? Are you ready for our spooky penultimate month?
As always, if you ever have any suggestions or feedback you'd like to offer us mods, remember you can always drop us a line here! Also, please remember to hit up the Current AC post if you have AC for the month! Characters accepted in April do not require AC proofs, but we do require a check-in on the post!

Activity Check for April
Apr. 23rd, 2019 09:00 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Welcome to the monthly activity check post for April! Hadriel's AC is self reporting and covers player activity for the entire month. All players must post to AC, even if taking a strike, unless you have a hiatus that extends throughout the entire week of the check. If a character does not respond to AC, they will be swept from the game in May.
This AC check will end in one week, at midnight EST on Wednesday, May 1st.
The following characters are exempt from AC:
For our AC, we require 20 network/inbox comments, or 10 log comments, or a combination of the two, with log comments counting for 2 network comments. Some examples of acceptable AC are below:
Reminder on AC policies: activity in character inboxes are counted as network tags. While we're aware that action tags can take place in character inboxes and on the network, we request that all log tags for AC take place in the log community,
hadriel_logs. Additionally, please use no more than four proofs for AC if possible.
Characters who do not have enough activity will take a strike. Strikes can be cleared with two months of passed activity. Characters who have two strikes within a three month period without a valid player hiatus will be swept.
April 2019 Note:As this is the final month of AC, we will not be strictly enforcing comment counts. If you have full AC proofs then they will be happily accepted, but if you don't and you still want to stay, then we will not sweep you. Please use this post to check-in and let us know that you're interested in remaining in Hadriel until endgame.
Additionally, since this is the final AC check, from here on out please be sure to let your close CR know if you intend to drop your character, so that they're aware and can plan accordingly. Thank you!
Please fill out the text box below and respond with your activity!

• New characters (characters who were accepted in the month of April). Please be sure that you have commented to the taken post and just check-in here!

• Players with extenuating circumstances. Please talk to the mods privately if you are unable to make AC or respond to the AC check for whatever reason, and we'll try to work it out with you

OOC Poll: Repeat Event
Apr. 15th, 2019 06:41 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Hello, all! In our April Rundown we linked a poll for everyone to give us their opinion about which event should be repeated. The first stage involved picking which god would get a repeat event, and we're here to announce that Fear won the poll by a decent margin.
This means that in May we'll have a Fear event that is a repeat of a past event. So if there's something your character missed, and you'd like them to have a chance to experience it, now's the time! Here are the events you can choose from:
You may notice that the Dreamwalker event, which was in the original doc that listed events, is not here. That's because - after some discussion - we decided that since we have repeated that event once already it shouldn't be in contention. We're sorry if that's the one you wanted!
Go ahead and take a look at your options, and vote below. The poll will close on April 23rd.

- Fear Itself: Hallucinate your own fears - and then start seeing other people's.
- Red Snow: Snow. Yeti. White Walkers. And just when you thought you'd gotten away from the ice planet!
- Buried Alive: What it says on the tin. Hopefully you're not too claustrophobic.
- Who What Where Wendigo: Some casual cannibalism causes people to slowly transform into wendigos. Good luck with that.
- Dead Men Walking: Who doesn't love zombies?!
- Dead Ringers: Everyone gets their own double, who wants to kill them, because of course they do.
- Flu Season: The flu runs rampant through the city, and along with it comes a good helping of paranoia.
- Senses Fail: Something vital to you - a sense, a power, a limb - is gone.
- Deserted: Alone with just a few other people, the rest of the city empty.
- It's Aliiiive!: Your coffee cup comes to life and tries to kill you, because that's just how it be sometimes.

Hey, it's Shade, player of Ivar, and I'm bringing back the fella I let go of a few months ago for endgame! For those who need a refresher or never got the chance to play with him, this is Leo Flynn, Sunai monster from an alternate future where the U.S. broke up into territories named after virtues and monsters roam the land. Most of the time, he looks like this human version, but then occasionally he loses control, and turns into that fiery monster found here.
He's coming in after a canon-update, so he's just spent the past year as an incorporate spirit stuck inside his brother August's head after he reaped his soul and killed him the previous year. He's spent that time influencing his brother, who spent the entire time wondering if Leo was real or if he was just going insane. Yeah, it's a weird series like that.

Hey, everyone. I'm Mary, Fingon's player, and I'm diving in under the finish line with a character I've toyed with playing here for ages.

Hadriel has already seen one version of Hyrule's eternally recurring princess, but this is another one: the Zelda of Ocarina of Time, exile, Sage, and occasional ninja. She enters from the end of the game, having endured an awful 36 hours of being kidnapped and permanently wrecking the Legend of Zelda timeline, and apparently it's not going to get any better for her in the short run.
I'm available at
delatour or by pm if you're interested in plotting with her, and feel free to hit me up on either.

Hey guys,
I'm the weird new (procrastinator) person who always meant to join Hadriel, but put if off until it was endgame. My timing is impeccable.
At least it's on point for Lt. Col. John Sheppard, a pilot turned commander who has never had a relaxing day in his life, and has a bad habit of jumping from one pain in the ass world into another, usually right as serious shit is about to go down.
John's favourite food is popcorn with butter. He brings his own salt.
You can add me on Discord at Dog#3202 or
